What Is the Difference Between a Prototype and a Pre-Production Sample?
A prototype explores development; a preproduction sample confirms the intended manufacturing specification.
A sample approval should identify the garment version, materials, measurements, and intended purpose. Development samples can answer specific questions without being ready for bulk production; record remaining exceptions so appearance approval is not mistaken for approval of every technical detail. Check which components remain provisional on each sample.
